Elkridge: 6600 Santa Barbara Road: Thieves cut a hole in a vending company's fence, dismantled the gate, stole two trucks and two boxes of snack foods about 5 a.m. yesterday.

Owen Brown: 6500 block of Quiet Hours Place: A thief stole a Honda Prelude, license ZSX155, about 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Harper's Choice: 5400 block of Harper's Farm Road: Someone pointed a knife at a pizza delivery man and demanded money about 4: 20 p.m. Tuesday. The victim threw his pizza bag at the robber and ran away.

North Laurel: 9700 block of Whiskey Run Road: Someone stole a 1990 Chevrolet S10, license 085406, about 4 a.m. yesterday.

Jessup: 7900 block of Old Jessup Road: Someone tried unsuccessfully to enter a home through a window about 1: 35 p.m. yesterday.

Savage: 8200 block of Woodward St.: Someone tried to pry open a basement door but failed about 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Savage: 8100 block of Aspenwood Way: Someone filed the front door locks of a home but failed to gain entry about 4: 40 p.m. Tuesday.
