Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Northeastern District

Shooting: A teen-age male was shot in the right arm about 8 p.m. Tuesday at his home in the 4300 block of Plainfield Ave. while trying to break up an argument between two men over money. A friend drove the victim to Union Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released. No arrest was made.

Southern District

Robbery: A man who implied he had a weapon robbed a 76-year-old man of $17 about 9 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of Roundview Road.

Burglary: A portable stereo radio and two cassette tape players, all valued at nearly $200, were stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the 2300 block of Terra Firma Road.

Theft: A wool overcoat valued at $100 was stolen Tuesday from a 1987 Nissan parked Tuesday in the 1300 block of Warner St.

Southwestern District

Stolen car: A 1970 Pontiac station wagon with tags DVM 185 was stolen Tuesday in the 3900 block of W. Mulberry St.

Robbery: Robbery: A man with a knife robbed a 32-year-old woman of $40 about 7 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of Hunting Place.

Western District

Robbery: Someone entered a house in the 200 block of N. Monroe St. through the front door Tuesday and stole jewelry valued at more than $4,000 and five packs of cigarettes.

Cutting: Police were seeking a known teen-age male who cut a 14-year-old girl on the right hand with a knife Tuesday in the 800 block of McKean Ave. The victim was treated at Bon Secours Hospital.

Northwestern District

Robbery: Two men in their 60s were in the 3000 block of W. Cold Spring Lane about 6 p.m. Tuesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed them of $6.

Northern District

Burglary: Two telephones and a checkbook were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 500 block of Rosehill Terrace. The thief entered through the front door.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Compact discs, watches and an electronic play station, all valued at nearly $1,200, were stolen Tuesday from townhouse at the Silvergate Townhouses in the first block of Cardor Court.

North Point Precinct

Robbery: A woman was waiting for her husband in the 1700 block of Merritt Blvd. about 2 p.m. Tuesday when she was shoved by a man who stole her purse containing more than $300.

Theft: Police arrested a man who attempted to leave Ames department store in the 7800 block of Eastern Blvd. on Tuesday without paying for a videocassette recorder valued at $170.

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: An man wearing a New York Yankees baseball cap and dark clothing robbed an 18-year-old man of his $500 necklace in the 7400 block of Belair Road about 10 p.m. Tuesday.

Burglary: Someone entered Direct Jewelry Outlet in the 8800 block of Belair Road and stole jewelry valued at an undisclosed sum of money Monday after disarming the burglar alarm. The burglary was reported Tuesday.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Several firearms, jewelry, two electric guitars and a camcorder, all valued at more than $2,000, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 17800 block of Falls Road.

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: A gunman robbed a teen-age boy of $10 about 6: 40 p.m. Tuesday outside a clothing store in the 8000 block of Liberty Road.

Stolen car: A 1993 Plymouth Acclaim with tags BTP 307 was stolen Tuesday in the 7100 block of Security Blvd.
