In victories over then-No. 3 Southern (83-61) and then-No. 10 Douglass (89-72), Brown combined for 66 points, 30 rebounds, eight blocks, eight dunks, seven assists and four steals. The junior center also made 10 of 13 free throws.

Girls basketball

Lipton totaled 60 points, 16 rebounds, 23 assists and 12 steals as the third-ranked Saints defeated Severna Park (75-50), Southern-AA (68-43) and Severn (85-41). The junior point guard scored a career-high 32 points against the Bulldogs.

Girls basketball

Vogtman led the top-ranked Magic to four wins at the Greater Baltimore Mixer, combining for 64 points, 22 rebounds, 18 steals and 10 assists. The junior center had 23 points, six rebounds and five steals in a 58-33 victory over St. John's Prospect Hall.
