Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southwestern District

Stolen car: A gray four-door 1985 Honda with tags DDK 886 was stolen Sunday in the 1600 block of N. Hilton St.

Theft/arrest: A 36-year-old woman was arrested Saturday when she attempted to leave the Dollar Bill store at the Westside Shoping Center in the 2400 block of Frederick Ave. without paying for two pot holders valued at $2.

Robbery: A man struck a woman in the face with his fist and robbed her of $30 about 7 a.m. Sunday in the 3400 block of W. Caton Ave. The woman refused medical treatment for a minor injury.

Theft from vehicle: A compact disc player, stereo equipment, tools, a jack, toys, a radio, a TV and a book bag, all valued at more than $3,000, were stolen Sunday from a car parked in the 3000 block of Walbrook Ave.

Western District

Robbery: An employee of Vizzini's pizza in the 1200 block of W. Pratt St. was about to make a delivery in the 200 block of N. Amity St. about 10 p.m. Sunday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $18 worth of pizza, sandwiches and soft drinks.

Burglary/arrest: Police responding to a burglar alarm at the Village Thrift shop in the 2200 block of Reisterstown Road Sunday entered the building and arrested a man who was attempting to open a cash register. Entry was gained through a rear door. The suspect, a 51-year-old homeless man, was charged with burglary and was being held at the Central Booking and Intake Center.

Northwestern District

Stolen car: A green 1993 Chrysler LeBaron with tags DNS 195 was stolen Sunday in the 2600 block of W. Belvedere Ave.

Assault/arrest: A 52-year-old resident of the 3700 block of Greenspring Ave. reported he woke about 7 p.m. Sunday to find his female roommate holding a knife to his throat. The 54-year-old woman was charged with aggravated assault and was being held at the Central Booking and Intake Center.

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: Clothing valued at more than $1,500 was stolen Sunday from a 1989 Honda parked in the 1000 block of Williams St.

Robbery: A man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed a Papa John's pizza deliveryman of less than $100 in the 600 block of Portland St. about 1: 30 p.m. Sunday.

Eastern District

Assault/arrest: A sister and brother were arguing Sunday night in the kitchen of their residence in the 1700 block of N. Patterson Park Ave. when she attempted to stab him. She was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

Northern District

Stolen car: A 1993 Ford Escort with tags BFP 807 was stolen Sunday in the 500 block of Harwood Ave.

Theft from vehicle: Sixty cassette tapes and a leather jacket, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Sunday from a car parked in the 3200 block of Barclay St.

Theft: A duffel bag containing clothing, an electronic organizer, computer software and more than $200 was stolen Sunday from a 1993 Toyota parked in the 200 block of E. 29th St.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 6500 block of Ridgebourne Drive through the front door Saturday and wrote the name Joe on a window and stole a knife of unknown value.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 200 block of Chartley Drive over the weekend and stole a jar containing at least $700 in coins.
