Meltzer named manager of freight terminal

New England Motor Freight appointed Mark Meltzer manager of its regional terminal in Baltimore. A 12-year veteran of the motor freight field, he formerly was regional manager for Carolina Freight. The Baltimore resident is active with several local charities and a member of the Central Pennsylvania Corvette Club.

Richardson, Myers & Donofrio hires McCann

Rihardson, Myers & Donofrio hired Jerry McCann as a vice president and account leader. He will oversee national consumer and business-to-business marketing communications for several of the advertising agency's accounts. He holds a master's degree from the University of Chicago and formerly was marketing services manager for Perdue Farms.

Malamud, Kerley join Eisner, Petrou & Associates

Eisner, Petrou & Associates, a regional marketing communications firm, named Debbi Malamud a senior account executive and Katherine Kerley an assistant account executive.

Malamud, a resident of Washington and a University of Maryland graduate, was with Edelman Public Relations Worldwide.

Kerley, formerly marketing and group sales manager for the Washington Ballet, graduated from Mary Baldwin College and lives in Washington.

Banking and finance

Raspe, Myers to handle Columbia Bank mortgages

Columbia Bank appointed Deborah M. Raspe and Richard W. Myers residential mortgage directors.

Raspe, a Millersville resident with 18 years' banking industry experience, formerly was a loan originator with American National Savings Bank.

Myers, a graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan College, was also with American National as a mortgage loan officer. Previously, he was an assistant dean of students at Georgia Institute of Technology.

Health care

Harbor Hospital appoints Hagan, Rosenthal

Harbor Hospital Center named Christine Courpas Hagan director of public relations and communications and appointed Nan Rosenthal director of fund development.

Hagan, a master's graduate of Towson University, formerly was on the communications staff at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Before joining the South Baltimore health facility, Rosenthal was community affairs director for WJHU radio and the originator/producer of the WBAL-TV children's show, Hocus Focus. She is a board member of LifeSongs for AIDS and the Baltimore School for the Arts.

Commercial real estate

Roohan, Freeze join CB Commercial

CB Commercial Real Estate Group appointed William S. Roohan and Robert F. Freeze Jr. first vice presidents. They will be responsible for multifamily property marketing and sales in the Baltimore region.

Roohan, a certified public accountant and graduate of Mount St. Mary's College, was a senior consultant with KPMG Peat Marwick. He is active in the Apartment Builders & Owners Council, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and sits on the board of the Baltimore Housing Partnership.

Freeze, with CB Commercial since 1988, had been a vice president with Equitable Bank. A University of Baltimore graduate, he is a member of the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors and the Apartment Builders & Owners Council.
