Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Eastern District

Burglary/arrests: Two Dundalk men were arrested early Sunday and charged with stealing more than $2,000 worth of tools from National Lumber in the 4900 block of Pulaski Highway. After being spotted by police, the men abandoned the property and ran into a storm drain under Interstate 895. When police blocked openings to the surface, the men surrendered. Charged with burglary are Michael Estep, 30, of the 8400 block of Kavanagh Road and Gary Marowski, 26, of the 2900 block of Cornwall Road.

Stolen car: A 1991 Honda Accord with tags DCR 978 was stolen Sunday in the 300 block of E. North Ave.

Robbery: Two employees of CVS pharmacy in the 2000 block of Harford Road were about to make a deposit at NationsBank at Harford Road and Bonaparte Avenue about noon Monday when a gunman robbed them of an undisclosed sum of money.

Northwestern District

Stolen car: A 1985 Oldsmobile with tags ETA 665 was stolen Monday in the 4500 block of Haddon Ave.

Shooting: A 17-year-old male was in the 3600 block of Park Heights Ave. about 6 p.m. Sunday when another male teen-ager shot him in the left knee. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital. No arrest had been made.

Robbery: A female motorist was stopped for a traffic light in the 3800 block of Towanda Ave. about 3: 30 a.m. Sunday when two men and a woman -- all wearing black jackets with the word POLICE printed on the back in white letters -- ordered her out of her Plymouth Neon and stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $25. The robbers did not take the car.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a Police Athletic League building in the 7200 block of Belair Road between Friday and Monday and stole electronic games valued at $500.

Burglary: Equipment valued at $600 was stolen from a shed at Wooten's Garage in the 12100 block of Long Green Pike in Glen Arm between Friday and Monday.

Burglary: A 1,000-pound set of weight scales were stolen over the weekend from a construction trailer parked in the 9400 block of Belair Road.

Towson Precinct

Rape/arrest: Police arrested a 27-year-old man from the first block of Altura Court on Monday and charged him with the second-degree rape of a woman. The woman reported she was raped at the man's home after being invited to dinner.

Cockeysville Precinct

Robbery: A woman was exiting her car in the 10300 block of Malcolm Circle about 8 p.m. Monday when she was assaulted by a man who stole her purse containing property and cash, all valued at more than $100.
