Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Northwestern District

Robbery try/shooting: A 58-year-old man was shot twice during an attempted robbery in the 2300 block of Ocala Ave. about 10 p.m. Saturday. The gunman fired three shots, hitting the victim once in the left hand and once in the abdomen. The assailants fled without taking any property or money. The victim was taken to Liberty Medical Center by a family member. He was later taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was in stable condition last night.

Eastern District

Stolen car: A gray four-door 1987 Nissan Maxima with tags RTE 614 was stolen Saturday in the 2800 block of Ashland Ave.

Southern District

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 900 block of Stoll St. through a rear window Saturday and stole $200.

Southwestern District

Theft from auto: A radio and several cassette tapes, all valued at $700, were stolen Saturday from a 1994 Suzuki parked in the 6600 block of Eberle Drive.

Northern District

fTC Theft: Video games valued at more than $100 were stolen from a city Department of Recreation and Parks building in the 3000 block of East Drive in Druid Hill Park between Nov. 24 and Friday.

Towson Precinct

Suspects arrested: Two brothers were arrested by county police and Harford County sheriff's deputies early Saturday and charged with burglarizing a Harford County Valu Food store. Police said Keith Bryan Titus, 34, of the 3700 block of Schuck St., East Baltimore, and Daniel George Titus, 36, of the 300 block of Leeanne Ave., Essex, also have been charged in warrants with at least one burglary in Baltimore County.

Essex Precinct

Unarmed robbery/arrests: Three teen-age boys were walking across the footbridge at Southeastern Terrace near Williams Avenue about 7 p.m. Friday when two other youths robbed one of the trio of his jacket. A short time later, police arrested two suspects and charged them as juveniles with unarmed robbery. One suspect was released to his parents' custody, and the other was being held for a bail hearing.

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun and each wearing fatigue jackets, robbed the Crown service station in the 7300 block of McClean Blvd. of more than $100 Saturday night. .

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A mountain bike valued at $400 was stolen Saturday from a garage in the first block of Oak Tree Court.

Garrison Precinct

Robbery: A 68-year-old woman was about to enter her home in the first block of Pickersgill Square in Owings Mills about 8 p.m. Saturday when she was assaulted by a man who stole her purse containing an undisclosed sum of money and bedroom slippers.

Wilkens Precinct

Robbery: A 25-year-old woman was in the 4400 block of Annapolis Road about 4: 15 p.m. Saturday when she was assaulted by a man who stole her purse containing cash, property and a credit card, all of unknown value.
