The Towson Catholic Tip-Off Mixer at Goucher College was canceled after a fight reportedly broke out after the Douglass-Patterson (N.J.) Catholic game.

A spokesman for Baltimore County Police said that about five patrol cars were dispatched to the college after security from the school requested assistance. No arrests were made.

The campus security office at Goucher College reported that one person was injured and taken from scene in an ambulance and confirmed that Towson Catholic cancelled the tourney, which included teams from Virginia, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Colleen Cox, athletic director at Towson Catholic, referred all questions to tournament committee chairman Horrace Holmes, who did not return phone calls last night.
