Outlook: Navy will be looking to end a five-game losing streak in the service rivalry. The last five games have been decided by a total of 10 points. The Mids, after losing a 21-17 squeaker to Notre Dame, won three straight against Temple, Colgate and Kent by a combined score of 163-70. Led by co-captain and senior safety Gervy Alota (101 tackles), Navy ranks ninth nationally in defense (277.6 yards per game) and fifth in rushing (299). Junior QB Johnny Goff leads Army with 667 yards rushing but has completed only 26 of 82 passes for one touchdown. Army ranks third in the country in rushing (316.3), but was blanked by Tulane, 41-0, and Air Force, 24-0.
