Heisman Trophy: Announced the four invitees to next Saturday's presentation in New York at the Downtown Athletic Club: Tennessee's Peyton Manning, Washington State's Ryan Leaf, Michigan's Charles Woodson and Marshall's Randy Moss.

Rutgers: Announced that Maurice "Mo" Brown, a freshman basketball player from Syracuse, N.Y., who has been charged with burglary, lewdness and harassment for entering a female student's dormitory room while she was sleeping, has been suspended indefinitely from the team.

Packers: The team plans to expand Lambeau Field from 60,790 seats to 68,000 by 1999 if it can get help from the state of Wisconsin.

Vikings: Signed QB Todd Bouman from practice squad; placed QB Brad Johnson on injured reserve with a herniated cervical disc in his neck; signed DB Anthony Walker to practice squad.
