Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Northern District

Shootings: Five men were in a car parked in the 1000 block of Richnor Road about 6: 15 p.m. Tuesday when two gunmen fired several shots into the vehicle, striking the driver in the right shoulder and a passenger in the left leg. Both victims were treated at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Northwestern District

Shootings: Two men were in the 2900 block of Springhill Ave. about 5: 15 p.m. Tuesday when a man with a shotgun shot one of them in the foot and the other in the right hand. Both victims were treated at Sinai Hospital.

Eastern District

Carjacking: A man was walking toward his 1983 Ford van parked in the 1800 block of N. Castle St. with its keys in the ignition about 7: 30 p.m. Tuesday when two men, one with a handgun, ordered him to keep walking. The men drove off in the van, with tags 69A743.

Southwestern District

Theft: A 1991 Volvo was parked in the 4500 block of Mountview Road on Tuesday when someone stole all four tires, valued at $100.

Southern District

Shooting: A man was in the 4600 block of Fairhaven Ave. about 7: 35 p.m. Tuesday when a man shot him in both legs. The victim was in stable condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Robbery: Two men robbed another man of his silver Mickey Mouse watch, valued at $40, in the 1100 block of S. Carey St. about 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Burglary: A refrigerator, a gas stove, lighting fixtures, a bathroom sink and a vanity, all valued at more than $1,300, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1200 block of W. Lombard St.

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: A man who implied he had a handgun robbed the Royal Farm store in the 8800 block of Philadelphia Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: A videocassette recorder, a radio, jewelry, telephone, tools and prescription medicines were stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the 1600 block of Dartford Road.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 2300 block of Murdock Road through a basement window Tuesday and stole a a videocassette recorder and several video games, all valued at more than $500.

For the Record

Homicide arrest: Renard Antonio Johnson, 31, of the 1500 block of Clairidge Road, Catonsville, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant charging him with the fatal shooting of Robert Kevin Sanders, 23, of the 1100 block of N. Carey St. on July 14, 1995. Baltimore police said the shooting in the 1000 block of Whatcoat St. stemmed from a dispute over a $50 drug debt. Johnson was being held without bail at the Central Booking and Intake Center.
