Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Central District

Robbery: After a man withdrew $400 from an automated teller machine in the 1800 block of Pennsylvania Ave. about 1 a.m. Monday, two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of the money.

Southern District

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a man of nearly $400 in the 2300 block of Indiana Ave. about 1 p.m. Monday.

Western District

Theft: Sixty compact discs valued at more than $1,000 were stolen Monday from a truck parked in the 2000 block of N. Smallwood St.

Robbery/arrest: Police arrested a man and charged him with robbing another man of $4.22 at gunpoint in the 1600 block of N. Fulton Ave. about 8 p.m. Monday. Held at the Central Booking and Intake Center charged with armed robbery was a 34-year-old Northwest Baltimore man.

Southwestern District

Robberies: Two men were in the 2400 block of Frederick Ave. about 7 p.m. Monday when two other men, one with a handgun, robbed them of $26.

Eastern District

Theft: A laptop computer valued at $4,000 was stolen Monday from a 1986 Chevrolet van parked in the 900 block of Aisquith St.

Northeastern District

Stolen car: A 1993 Dodge Shadow with Virginia vanity tag 992 MELANI was stolen Monday in the 4400 block of Marble Hall Road.

Northern District

Murder attempt/robbery: Robert Edward Jones, 30, of the 2100 block of Guilford Ave. was being sought on warrants charging him in the stabbing assault and attempted murder in attacks Monday afternoon on a 46-year-old disabled woman and a 54-year-old man in the home they share in the 2100 block of Guilford Ave. Jones also is charged with robbing the woman of $960. The wounds were not life-threatening, authorities said.

White Marsh Precinct

Stolen car/arrest: An 18-year-old driver was stopped in the 2300 block of Ridge Road on Monday by an officer who recognized the car as being stolen. When the youth tried to flee, the officer's dog, Hero, bit him. Police said the car was reported stolen from Hillendale Shopping Center. The youth was released from Franklin Square Hospital Center after treatment for dog bites and was charged with auto theft.

North Point Precinct

Theft: Two trailers valued at $15,000 were stolen from George International Corp. in the 4000 block of Beechwood Road between Sept. 22 and Nov. 10. The thefts were reported Monday.

Parkville Precinct

Bank robbery: A man robbed the NationsBank branch in the 9600 block of Harford Road about 1 p.m. Monday of an undisclosed sum of money after giving a teller a holdup note.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Two pearl necklaces, a gold ring and $75, all valued at more than $4,000, were stolen Monday from a house in the 200 block of Melanchton Ave. by someone who entered through a side window.
