Item: Campbell's Baked Ramen Noodle Soup

Servings per package: One

Cost: 69 cents

Preparation time: About 6 minutes

Review: I'm not a ramen noodle soup fan, but Campbell's has produced a more sensible version. It's still laden with salt, but it's baked, not fried, so it's 98 percent fat free. Comes in a single-serve paper cup, so if you've got hot water, you've got soup. The baked ramen noodles seemed just a little chewy, a minor detail, considering the savings in fat and calories. Note: Don't let the label fool you. Despite a photo featuring chunks of carrot, corn and celery, the veggies in this soup are sparse.
