Leslie Ritter scored a game-high 18 points and Julie Anderson contributed 16 as Johns Hopkins rolled to a 77-38 college basketball victory last night over Swarthmore in its season-opener at the White Center.
Towson 61, Fairleigh Dickinson 47: Sophomore Shniece Perry scored 12 points and had a career-high 20 rebounds to help lead host Towson (1-0).
Western Maryland 74, Ursinus 59: Senior forward Katie Haley posted game-highs of 24 points and 16 rebounds to lead the host Green Terror (3-0) to victory in the Centennial Conference opener for both teams.
Christopher Newport 98, Salisbury 91: Misty Hart scored a game-high 42 as the Lady Captains (3-0) outlasted the host Sea Gulls (0-3).
