UMES trims Wagner in overtime State men

Cryhten Langhorne scored a team-high 27 points to lead the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore to a 95-82 overtime win over Wagner last night at Princess Anne.

William Wright had 21 points and 11 rebounds, and Joel Hoover added 20 points for UMES. The Seahawks outscored Wagner, 17-4, in overtime.

UMES rallied from a six-point halftime deficit. The difference came from the foul line, where UMES shot 37-for-50 while Wagner only had 28 attempts.

Dan Seigle had a game-high 29 points and pulled down seven rebounds for Wagner.

Washington College 99, Salisbury State 94: Senior forward Bradd Burkhart scored a game-high 35 as the Shoremen defeated Salisbury State in Chestertown.

Burkhart shot 11 of 17 from the field and added a game-high 11 rebounds.

The Shoremen's Brad Harris scored 23 and became the Centennial Conference's all-time leading scorer with 1,236 points.

Washington College (1-1) led 43-33 at halftime, but jumped out to as much as a 22-point lead in the second half.

Will Watson scored 17 to lead the Sea Gulls (1-2).
