November 25, 1997

A New Windsor man died Saturday at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, where he was taken by state police MedEvac helicopter Friday night after a one-car accident in Marston, state police said.

Brian K. Mcintyre, 31, of Barnes Road was ejected from the Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera he was driving south on Marston Road north of Sams Creek Road about 8 p.m., police said.

Investigators said excessive speed, road conditions and driver error appeared to cause the Oldsmobile to spin out of control across the north side of the roadway, skidding backward until it struck a utility pole and several small trees before stopping in a gully.
