Anne Arundel County police were called to Andover High School in Linthicum yesterday after a "shouting match" broke out during a meeting of school officials with black and white students. Order was soon restored. -- The Sun, Nov. 7, 1972.

Annapolis, which a decade ago was feared to be slowly dying, has entered a period of growth unmatched since Colonial times. In 10 years, 310 residential and 63 commercial properties in the downtown area have been restored. -- The Sun, Nov. 12, 1972.

In Annapolis, Michael D. Henson, 15, died early yesterday while helping rescue eight people, including four children, from a fire in a mobile home near Harwood caused by a candle left burning on a dresser. -- The Sun, Nov. 15, 1972.
