Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Burglary: Tools valued at more than $600 were stolen Monday from Middleton & Meads, a truck repair firm in the 1900 block of S. Hanover St.

Burglary: Stereo equipment valued at $400 was stolen Monday from Charleston Pub in the 1200 block of Hull St. in Locust Point.

Burglary: Tools valued at $700 were stolen Monday from a house in the 1800 block of Ramsay St.

Western District

Robbery: A man shoved a woman to the ground in the 1600 block of Mosher St. about 11 p.m. Monday and stole her wallet containing a small sum of money.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A man armed with a sawed-off shotgun robbed a 63-year-old man of $120 about 10: 25 p.m. Monday, shortly after the victim left the Crestar Bank in the 6800 block of Reisterstown Road. The shotgun was concealed in a paper bag.

Robbery: A man was seated in his car in the 4700 block of Garrison Blvd. about 6 p.m. Monday when another man flashed a badge, said he was a federal agent and robbed him of a cellular phone valued at more than $100.

Carjacking attempt: A motorist stopped in the 3600 block of Beehler Ave. about 9 p.m. Monday to give a ride to a couple. Inside the car, a male suspect pulled an ice pick and forced the motorist out of the car. While the suspect was trying to start the car, the motorist deflated at least one tire, preventing the car from being driven. The suspects fled.

Robbery: A man robbed another man of $40 about 3: 20 a.m. Monday in the 3200 block of W. Garrison Ave.

Eastern District

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 1700 block of N. Montford Ave. through a second-floor rear window Monday and stole 24 cans of soft drink valued at $16.

Theft from vehicle: A portable oven, 48 boxes of Girl Scout cookies and clothing, all valued at more than $200, were stolen Monday from a 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier parked in the 1800 block of Harford Ave.

Northern District

Robbery: After placing a pound of butter on the counter at Murry's Steaks in the 5400 block of York Road about 7 p.m. Monday, a male customer pulled a handgun and ordered a clerk to give him the contents of the cash register. The gunman fled with $80. It was not known if he took the butter.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a vacant house in the 6000 block of Lanette Road on Monday and stole a stove and refrigerator, valued at $800.

Theft/arrest: A woman was arrested Monday when she tried to leave Montgomery Ward at Golden Ring Mall without paying for four jackets valued at nearly $200.

Theft: Coin boxes containing at least $100 were taken from two clothes washers in the laundry room of an apartment building in the 7500 block of Stone Cutter Court Monday.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Jewelry valued at $700 was stolen Wednesday from a house in the 12400 block of Long Green Pike.
