Wilson, White, Herne take posts at B&O museum

The B&O Railroad Museum has appointed Courtney Wilson chief curator; Matt White, director of education; and Shawn Herne, collections curator/registrar manager.

Wilson, formerly with the National Park Service, was director of the Hampton National Historic Site in Towson. He will direct the historical collections, car shop operations, curatorial and educational departments, and archives and train operations.

White, previously with the Baltimore Museum of Industry, holds master's degrees from the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins University. Herne, a graduate of the University of Delaware, worked at the Smithsonian Institution's Museum of Natural History.

Alcore names Schonbachler as marketing manager

Alcore Inc. named Richard E. Schonbachler marketing manager for the Belcamp-headquartered manufacturer of aluminum honeycomb and special process machined assemblies.

Formerly with BGE, the MBA graduate of Johns Hopkins will be responsible for domestic and international strategic planning and marketing.

Eber at Imre & Associates as senior account executive

Imre & Associates added Mark Eber to the Baltimore-based ad and marketing agency's staff as a senior account executive. A Towson University graduate, he formerly was director of public affairs for Sheppard Pratt Health System.

A Parkton resident, he is an active member of the local chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and the Towson University Tiger Club, serving on the boards of those organizations.

Kelley senior copy writer at Eisner & Associates

Eisner & Associates hired Brian Kelley as a senior copy writer for the Baltimore-based ad agency.

Formerly with Washington-based Ad Works and DeVito/Verdi, he is a graduate of Ursinus College and has won several industry awards, including ADDYs from New York and Washington.

Also, Jeffrey Erickson, a Virginia Commonwealth University graduate who worked at WRLH-TV, was appointed a strategic planner and Becki Rosenfield, a graduate of Brandeis University, as an assistant strategic planner for the agency.

Legal and insurance

Carlis, Kaufman, Alliker join Gordon, Feinblatt

Gordon, Feinblatt, Rothman, Hoffberger & Hollander selected Michael D. Carlis, Jessica B. Kaufman and E. Benjamin Alliker as associates of the Baltimore law firm.

Carlis, assigned to the employment law department, graduated from the University of Baltimore and had been senior attorney with the Health Education Resource Organization.

Kaufman, a Columbia resident, graduated from the University of Maryland Law School and served as clerk to Judge John F. Feder II on the Baltimore County Circuit Court. Alliker, also a University of Maryland Law School graduate, served as clerk to Maryland Court of Appeals Judge Alan M. Wilner.

Banking and finance

Crawford named manager of 1st Mariner branch

1st Mariner Bank named Fran Crawford manager of its Pikesville branch office. She will have responsibility for branch operations, sales, staff training and business development. Formerly with First National Bank of Maryland, she is active in the Essex/Middle River Chamber of Commerce and the Essex Development Corp.

Health care

Dingman executive director at Springhouse ManorCare

Springhouse ManorCare Health Services appointed Ross Dingman executive director of the Pikesville assisted-living residence. Formerly executive director at Deerfield Health Care Corp., he holds a master's degree from the University of Cincinnati.
