No. 1 Loyola (7-1) at John Carroll (8-1)

When: Today, 1 p.m.

Outlook: Loyola QB Brant Hall (678 yards passing, eight touchdowns; 497 rushing, six touchdowns) is a threat to run or pass, and complements RB Kyle Bell (863 rushing, 12 touchdowns). John Carroll must contain them and hope for a close game. If that happens, state record-breaking place-kicker Scott Collins has a shot to lift the Patriots to victory. The Dons, of the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference, mustn't look past MIAA B Conference runner-up John Carroll.
