Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: A compact disc player valued at nearly $200 was stolen from a car parked in the 1000 block of Covington St. on Sunday.

Theft: A cellular phone valued at more than $300 was stolen Sunday from a 1997 Ford Explorer parked in the 700 block of Sharp St.

Theft: Luggage and clothing, all valued at nearly $300, were stolen Sunday from a 1996 Dodge van parked in the 200 block of S. Eutaw St.

Theft: A cellular phone valued at $100 was stolen from a house in the 1000 block of S. Charles St. Sunday.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A 17-year-old male was in the 2900 block of W. Belvedere Ave. about 10 p.m. Saturday when two men, one with LTC a handgun, robbed him of a sports jacket, NFL team jersey, a baseball cap and $97. The items were valued at nearly $300.

Burglary: A 45-inch TV, 27-inch TV, jewelry and other property, all valued at more than $9,000, were stolen from a house in the 3900 block of Penhurst Ave. Saturday by someone who entered through a door.

Burglary: Copper piping and tubing, a 16-foot ladder, a metal door, a bathroom vanity and a sink, all valued at more than $800, were stolen Saturday from a house being renovated in the 2800 block of Boarman Ave.

Robbery: A woman was about to enter her home in the 4000 block of Dorchester Road about 3: 30 a.m. Sunday when a man pushed her aside and stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at nearly $200. Before the man fled, the woman sprayed him with a mixture of a chemical irritant and red dye.

Robbery: A 96-year-old woman was in the 2900 block of Fallstaff Road about 4: 15 p.m. Sunday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at less than $100.

Purse snatching: Police were seeking two teen-age males who stole a woman's purse containing cash and property, all valued at $35, in the 6800 block of Reisterstown Road about 9 p.m. Saturday.

Southwestern District

Stolen vehicle: A white 1994 Dodge van with tags 576961M was stolen in the 3200 block of Elgin Ave. Saturday.

Robbery: A 20-year-old woman was in the 3100 block of W. North Ave. about 1 p.m. Saturday when a gunman robbed her of $22 and a money order for more than $400.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a man of $2 in nickels and a pack of cigarettes in the 5300 block of Lantern Court about 1 a.m. Sunday.

Eastern District

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 200 block of N. Duncan St. through a rear door Sunday and stole a 27-inch TV, 19-inch TV, videocassette recorder, food and a radio, all valued at nearly $1,000.

Stabbing: Police were seeking two youths, one known as "Terry" and the other as "Little Man," who stabbed a 13-year-old boy in the chest with a large knife in the 400 block of N. Maderia St. about 6 p.m. Sunday. The victim was in critical condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital yesterday.

Rape/robbery: A 21-year-old woman was in the 1100 block of E. North Ave. about 10 a.m. Sunday when a man armed with a knife forced her into a vacant house in the 1700 block of N. Ensor St. and raped her. Before fleeing, the man robbed the woman of $15. She was treated at Mercy Medical Center.

Theft from vehicle: Tools valued at $100 were stolen Sunday from a pickup truck parked in the 1300 block of Wilcox St.

Burglary: Police were seeking a man known as "Charlie" who entered a house in the 1000 block of Wilmot Court through a rear kitchen window Sunday and stole stereo equipment, an air conditioner and a cassette deck, all valued at $500.

Assault: During an argument over money at their home in the 900 block of N. Collington Ave. Sunday, a woman struck a man in the head with a hammer. He declined medical treatment and no arrest was made.

Theft from vehicle: Tools of unknown value were stolen Sunday from a Chevrolet car parked in the 1200 block of Ellwood Ave.

Northern District

Robbery: A gunman robbed a woman of $30 about 8: 40 p.m. Sunday in the first block of W. 21st St.

Robbery: A man was in the 2600 block of N. Calvert St. on Sunday when another man robbed him of $15 and a pack of cigarettes.

Theft from vehicle: A nurse's bag containing medical supplies, all valued at nearly $500, was stolen Sunday from a car parked in the 2200 block of Maryland Ave.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Cash and a duffel bag containing property, all valued at $500, were stolen Saturday from a house in the 8000 block of Poplar Ave.
