Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southwestern District

Shooting: Two men were fighting in the 2400 block of E. Fayette St. about 1 a.m. yesterday when one of them pulled a handgun and shot the other in the lower back. The gunman escaped, and the 23-year-old victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital and released. He was arrested on a warrant charging him with failing to appear in court on an undisclosed date for an unspecified crime.

Eastern District

Shootings: Two men, one 26 and the other 40, were in the 2200 block of Mura St. about 10: 30 p.m. Saturday when a gunman demanded their money and property. As the victims fled, the gunman fired shots, hitting one man in the right thigh and the other in the right hip. After shooting the men, the gunman picked up a coat valued at $400 that one of the victims had dropped, and escaped. The victims were treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital and released.

Shooting: During a drug-related incident in the 2500 block of E. Hoffman St. about 11: 15 p.m. Saturday, a man shot another in the left thigh. The victim was in critical condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital yesterday. Angelo McCoy, 41, of the 3600 block of Erdman Ave. was charged in a warrant with attempted murder and is being sought.

Southern District

Robbery: A man was in the 1400 block of Bush St. about 9: 30 p.m. Saturday when another man robbed him of nearly $100 after threatening him with a shovel.

Robbery: A 17-year-old boy was in the 3000 block of Hollins Ferry Road about 3 p.m. Saturday when a man struck him in the face and stole his bike, valued at more than $300.

Southwestern District

Robbery: Three men, one with a handgun, attacked a man in the 2200 block of Garrison Blvd. about 5 p.m. Friday and robbed him of $20.

Western District

Shooting: Police responding to a report of a shooting in the 1700 block of Woodyear St. about 4: 10 p.m. yesterday found a 17-year-old male lying on the pavement between two homes and suffering from gunshot wounds to the left arm and chest. The victim was in critical condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center yesterday. No arrest had been made, and police knew of no motive for the shooting.

Robbery: A 16-year-old male was waiting at a bus stop in the 2300 block of W. North Ave. about 9: 15 p.m. Saturday when a gunman robbed him of more than $40.

North Point Precinct

Rape: Charges were pending against a youth who is alleged to have raped his younger stepsister Oct. 25 in the victim's Dundalk-area home. The incident was reported Saturday.

Robbery: Police were seeking two men who assaulted a 55-year-old man behind a tavern in the 2100 block of Merritt Blvd. about 7 p.m. Saturday and robbed him of more than $80. The victim suffered injuries but declined medical treatment.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A 54-year-old woman was walking with a friend in the 2300 block of Cleanleigh Drive about 7: 25 p.m. Saturday when a man with a silver-colored semiautomatic handgun robbed her of several pieces of jewelry and a jacket, all of unknown value.
