County police arrested two Severna Park youths early Friday on charges stemming from a burglary at Fishpaw's Liquors in the 900 block of Ritchie Highway.

The boys, ages 14 and 16, were charged as juveniles with burglary and destruction of property.

Police went to the store about 2: 30 a.m. after a burglar alarm sounded.

Officer Michael Krok stopped one boy as he was coming out of the rear of the building. While he spoke to the boy, the officer saw someone replacing a piece of plywood in a rear window, police said.

Krok called for a police dog to search the building. The dog found another youth, who was arrested, police said.

Officers said they found $140 worth of liquor stolen from the store when they searched a bike trail nearby.
