Millersville woman lost control of her car Wednesday and it crashed through the front windows of a 7-Eleven store in the 400 block of Old Mill Road, county police said.

Police said Melissa Lee Roe, 25, of the 8300 block of Norwood Road accidentally stepped on the accelerator of her 1991 red Plymouth instead of the brake as she drove into the parking lot about 6: 30 p.m., police said.

The car shot forward through the windows, police said.

"It was all the way in the store," said Ella Hensley, who ran to the store after the accident. "There were no skid marks anywhere."

No customers were in the store, and no one was injured, police said.
