Photojournalist exhibits her works at Sykesville gallery through Dec. 1

Kay Muldoon Ibrahim, a photojournalist who has traveled the world taking photographs for organizations and media, is exhibiting her work at Beasman Center Gallery at Fairhaven in Sykesville through Dec. 1.

Her travels have taken her to 70 countries, including Chile for 21 years and Ethiopia and Kenya. She has worked for the United Nations, World Bank, Encyclopedia Britannica Educational Corp. and Scholastic magazine.

Some of her displayed works were started in the field and finished in the studio. Others were painted in the studio from sketches and her slide collection.

Fairhaven is at 7200 Third Ave.
