Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Robbery: A 30-year-old man in a wheelchair was in the 800 block of S. Carey St. about 3 p.m. Tuesday when one of two men called for him to stop. When the man in the wheelchair did so, one of the two men implied he had a handgun and robbed him of a small bag containing more than $100. The man in the chair was not injured.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 1200 block of Sargeant St. through a kitchen window Tuesday and stole stereo equipment valued at $1,000.

Western District

Theft: Two metal window grates valued at $100 were stolen Monday from the front window of a house in the 1800 block of W. Saratoga St. The thief caused $50 of damage to the house while removing the grates.

Burglary: A 13-inch television, a videocassette recorder, a wedding band, a silver ring with three diamonds and a gold ring with diamond clusters, all valued at more than $3,000, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1800 block of Presstman St.

Weapon arrest: A man in an alley behind the 1800 block of Thomas Ave. on Tuesday saw a police officer and ran. The officer caught him, searched him and recovered a loaded .22-caliber semiautomatic handgun. Irving Lamont Bunch, 27, of the 2500 block of W. North Ave. was charged with possession of a deadly weapon.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A 17-year-old male was walking through a wooded area off the 2900 block of Keyworth Ave. about 9 p.m. Tuesday when two men, one with a handgun, knocked him to the ground and robbed him of nearly $40 and a watch.

Southwestern District

Stolen car: A green 1996 Jeep Cherokee with tags 907978M was stolen Tuesday from the park and ride lot off Interstate 70 near Security Boulevard.

Northern District

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a 33-year-old man of more than $200 in the 4500 block of Pall Mall Road about 11: 15 p.m. Tuesday.

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: A gunman robbed the Wendy's restaurant at the Perry Hall Crossing Shopping Center in the 8700 block of Belair Road of cash about 2: 30 a.m. Tuesday.

North Point Precinct

Theft from vehicle: Someone entered a 1986 Dodge van parked on Fleming Drive near Main Street in Dundalk Tuesday and stole a radio and a cellular phone, valued at more than $400.

Burglaries: Two houses in the 500 block of 47th St. were burglarized Tuesday. From one house, a purse containing cash, credit cards, keys and a watch, all valued at more than $600, was stolen. Cash, credit cards, jewelry and clothing, all valued at more than $1,000, were taken from the other.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: The occupant of a house in the first block of E. Burke Ave. surprised a burglar Tuesday afternoon, causing him to flee empty-handed.
