Terps women deal N.C. State 6-2 setback

Robin McCullough made a hat trick and Michelle Deville added a pair of goals to power No. 15 Maryland past host N.C. State, 6-2, in Atlantic Coast Conference women's college soccer yesterday.

The Terps (11-7-2, 4-3) tied for third with Virginia and Clemson, but won the No. 3 seed in the ACC Tournament tiebreaker this weekend. The Wolfpack (9-11) finished sixth in the league and will face the Terps tomorrow at 8 p.m. in the first round of the conference tournament.

Men's soccer

Shenandoah 2, Frostburg State 1: William Greygor scored with 24 seconds left in the overtime to lift host Shenandoah over the Bobcats (16-3).
