Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Eastern District

Triple shooting: Two 16-year-old boys and an 18-year-old man were shot Monday night during an apparent robbery attempt by three gunmen in the 200 block of N. Montford Ave. As the gunmen neared the victims about 9: 30 p.m., the victims ran and were shot. The gunmen fired at least 14 bullets. One boy was shot in the neck, the other in the right forearm. Both were released from Johns Hopkins Children's Center. The man was shot in the lower right side and was in fair condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center yesterday. No arrests had been made.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A 20-year-old woman was standing at a bus stop in the 4500 block of N. Rogers Ave. about 8 p.m. Monday when a man armed with a knife and handgun forced her to a secluded area, tied her hands behind her back and robbed her of $40, a radio and an umbrella, all valued at $100.

Southern District

Robbery: A man was in the 200 block of Reedbird Ave. about 7: 30 p.m. Monday when a man robbed him of $20.

Northern District

Robbery: A 38-year-old woman was in the 2500 block of St. Paul St. about 8 p.m. Monday when two men struck her in the face and stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $60.

Parkville Precinct

Robbery/arrests: A man and a woman are suspected of robbing the High's dairy store in the 3300 block of E. Joppa Road of $50 about noon yesterday. As police pursued a car south on Harford Road, the vehicle went out of control at Linwood Avenue, flipped and struck a parking meter. The uninjured occupants were arrested and were being interviewed by detectives last night.

Garrison Precinct

xTC Robbery: A woman was in the first block of Tent Mill Lane in Pikesville at 8: 30 p.m. Monday when a man assaulted her and stole her purse containing cash and property valued at $50.

For the Record

Homicide victim identified: Police identified a man shot to death Monday night while in his car in the 700 block of W. Cross St. as Alphonso C. Wiggins, 53, of the 6700 block of Kincheloe Ave., Woodlawn. He was a driver for a Washington bus service. Police had no suspect and knew of no motive.

Suspect arrested: A man wanted on warrants charging him with assault, sodomy and other sex offenses was arrested by the FBI and city police yesterday afternoon outside the Downtown Athletic Club in the 200 block of E. Centre St., where he had been playing basketball. Darrick Smith, 29, of the 4000 block of W. Rogers Ave., charged with sexually assaulting a woman Sept. 3 at a Pulaski Highway motel, was being held at the Central Booking and Intake Center pending a bail hearing.
