Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Northeastern District

Shooting: A 37-year-old man was in the 1500 block of Havenwood Road about 12: 10 a.m. Sunday and was talking to a another man about money he owed him when the other man shot the victim in the neck. The victim was in critical condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital yesterday.

Western District

Shooting: A 25-year-old man from Cherry Hill in South Baltimore was standing in the 1000 block of Pennsylvania Ave. about 10: 20 p.m. Saturday when a gunman shot him in the upper left leg. The victim was treated at University of Maryland Medical Center.

Eastern District

Burglary: The screen section of a storm door and six panes of glass from the main door, all valued at $50, were stolen from a house in the 3600 block of Pulaski Highway on Saturday or Sunday.

Southwestern District

Stolen car: A four-door blue 1991 Honda Accord with tags DWW 385 was stolen Sunday in the 2700 block of W. North Ave.

Northwestern District

Carjacking: A motorist was stopped in the 2700 block of Reisterstown Road about 11 a.m. Sunday when a gunman forced him out of his 1984 Mercury Topaz with Pennsylvania tags BEM 2629 and drove off.

Robbery: Two men, one of whom implied he was armed with a handgun, robbed a 19-year-old man of his overcoat, several compact discs and $60, all valued at $500, in the 3900 block of Hilton Road about 4 p.m. yesterday.

Burglary: Two hundred packs of cigarettes, a 25-inch television and several sets of keys were stolen from the Sunoco station in the 6600 block of Reisterstown Road on Saturday or Sunday.

Northern District

Theft from vehicle: Tools, cassette tapes and $4 in quarters were stolen from a 1979 Buick parked Sunday in the 3100 block of Swan Drive in Druid Hill Park.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered the Valu Food supermarket in the 1700 block of Chesaco Ave. in Rosedale through the roof Sunday night and broke into an automated teller machine but could not reach the money.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Timberland boots valued at $100 were stolen Saturday from Sunny's Surplus in the 7900 block of Harford Road. The front window was broken with a brick.

Towson Precinct

Robbery try/cutting: A 14-year-old girl was waiting for a bus at Bon Air and Daytona roads about 6: 30 a.m. yesterday when a man demanded her money. When she refused, the man pulled a knife and cut her on the arms, neck and face. The girl refused medical treatment.

Robbery: Three masked gunmen accosted four employees of Applebee's restaurant in the 8600 block of LaSalle Road about 12: 30 a.m. yesterday as they were closing the business and forced them back inside. There, three employees were locked in a stand-up freezer while the fourth was forced to open a safe. The gunmen escaped with cash. No one was injured.
