Two men, one armed with a knife, robbed a Baltimore man of cash and jewelry early yesterday in Brooklyn Park, county police said.

James E. Gollick, 23, told police he was walking along Church Street near Franklin Street when two men approached and demanded money.

Gollick refused to give them any and one of the men pulled out a knife and repeated the demand, police said. Gollick gave the man $123, and the man demanded a ring Gollick was wearing. Gollick handed it over and the man threatened to kill Gollick if he called police, then slashed his hand, police said.

Both men ran north on Franklin Street. Gollick could not give police a detailed description of his assailants.
