No. 6 Fallston girls down Glen Burnie, 3-0

Senior Christy Peterson had a goal and an assist to lead the No. 6 Fallston (12-3) to a 3-0 girls soccer victory over host Glen Burnie. Junior Candi Kuligowski made four saves to help Fallston advance in the 3A-4A North playoffs.

No. 13 Bel Air 1, North Harford 0: April Madden scored the game-winner with 1: 37 left in the first half to lift No. 13 Bobcats (11-4) over the visiting Hawks. Jessica Colletta made 10 saves for North Harford, seven more than Bel Air's Colleen Keefe.

Boys soccer

No. 14 Patapsco 2, North East 1: Brian Pugh scored a goal and his brother, Joe, chipped in an assist to help the Patriots past North East in Class 2A North playoff action.

Field hockey

No. 4 Fallston 2, Bel Air 1, OT: Fallston outscored Bel Air 3-0 in a shootout to lead the Cougars (13-1) to a home victory over the Bobcats (7-5-1) in a Class 2A East semifinal game.

Fallston seniors Adriane Keller, Jen Patro, and Carrie Wirth each made the penalty shots.

No. 14 Mount Hebron 4, Franklin 0: Poly Purcell scored a goal and added two assists in the second half to power the host Vikings (12-1-1) past the Indians in Class 2A South regional semifinal action. Mount Hebron faces Long Reach tomorrow at 3 p.m.

No. 1 Westminster 5, North County 0: Lisa Duke had three goals and Lindsay Iadevia added two goals and an assist to lead the Owls (14-0).
