AS IT WAS with the Million Man March two years ago, Saturday's Million Woman March in Philadelphia left people invigorated for having attended the event but uncertain of what happens next. That's to be expected when events so huge in scope and participants appeal to the sense of personal responsibility needed to fix what's wrong with America -- city by city, neighborhood by neighborhood, home by home.
The march had a 12-issue agenda, but its main goal was to instill a sense of personal mission. Women and men are seeking new sources of inspiration to make their communities better. That will happen when they find motivation for change within themselves, not an event.
