1 Bam Morris. The big back rushed 36 times for 176 yards and gave the Ravens a strong and consistent running game for the first time this season.

2 Third-down efficiency. The Redskins were just 3-for-11 on third-down conversions. The Ravens had been allowing nearly 50 percent.

3 The Ravens stopped the Redskins' rushing attack and forced them to rely on quarterback Gus Frerotte, who is inconsistent at best.
