Hopkins runs past Bridgewater, 21-10

James Cacossa scored on runs of 10 and 15 yards in the first half and Jamie Monica added a 12-yard scoring run with 5: 05 left to power Johns Hopkins to a 21-10 college football victory over Bridgewater at Homewood Field yesterday.

The win is the fourth straight for the Blue Jays (6-1).

Cacossa capped an 11-play, 82-yard drive with a 10-yard run with 3: 21 left in the first quarter to give the Blue Jays a 7-0 lead. He added a second touchdown with 1: 36 left in the second quarter to break a 7-7 tie and give Hopkins the lead for good, 14-7.

The Blue Jays limited the Eagles (1-6) to just 222 yards total offense.
