Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Northern District

Bank robbery/arrest: A 34-year-old man was arrested and charged with the unarmed robbery of Provident Bank of Maryland in the 500 block of E. Belvedere Ave. about 11 a.m. yesterday. After giving a teller a holdup note and escaping with an undisclosed sum of money, a man drove off in a car occupied by two women. A short time later in the 2400 block of W. Northern Parkway, police stopped the car and arrested the trio. Charged with bank robbery and held at the Central Booking and Intake Center pending a bail hearing is Michael Cosby, of the 4000 block of Belle Ave. in Forest Park. It was not immediately known if charges were brought against the women.

Southwestern District

Stolen car: A green four-door 1997 Plymouth with tags EFA 725 and equipped with a car alarm was stolen in the 2600 block of Georgetown Road on Saturday.

Central District

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a 46-year-old man of $60 about 8 p.m. Sunday in the 700 block of N. Charles St.

Counterfeit money: While counting the day's receipts Friday, the manager of Lee's Ice Cream Factory in the Light Street pavilion at Harborplace found a $20 bill whose texture felt unusual. Police said the bill was counterfeit.

Western District

Burglary: Coins, food and a clothes hamper containing clothing were stolen Sunday from a house in the 2300 block of Windsor Ave.

Northwestern District

Stolen car: A 1985 BMW with unknown temporary tags was stolen Sunday in the 3800 block of Dorchester Road.

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: A cellular phone and several checkbooks were stolen Sunday from a car parked in the 1100 block of Riverside Ave.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: A Honda CR-80 dirt bike valued valued at nearly $100 was stolen Friday from a garage in the 4200 block of Soth Ave.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: A shotgun, .25-caliber handgun and jewelry, all of unknown value, were stolen Friday from a house in the 2200 block of Redthorn Road.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 900 block of Radcliffe Road through a basement door Sunday and stole a 28-inch bike.

Burglary/stolen car: After breaking into a house in the 500 block of Goucher Blvd. between Friday and Sunday, someone stole a set of keys and then took the victim's 1992 Geo Prizm with tags XFA 526.

School burglary: During the weekend, someone broke into Pleasant Plains Elementary School in the 8300 block of Pleasant Plains Road through a window.

Robbery: A female motorist gave a ride to a man and woman at Belvedere Avenue and Reisterstown Road about 4 a.m. Sunday. Once inside the car, the man pulled a knife and ordered her to drive to Robert E. Lee Memorial Park in the 1000 block of Lakeside Drive off Falls Road near Mount Washington. The couple robbed her of $30 and fled on foot.
