Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: Property valued at more than $50 was stolen from a 1990 Plymouth parked in the 500 block of S. Charles St. on Wednesday.

Western District

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 300 block of N. Gilmor St. through the front door Wednesday and stole cash, several video games and jewelry, all valued at nearly $2,400.

Northwestern District

Stolen car: A 4-door white 1985 Honda with Florida tags WGF34N was stolen Wednesday in the 2300 block of Allendale Road.

Eastern District

Robbery/arrest: Police arrested an 18-year-old woman and charged her with robbing a 45-year-old woman of $20 after the victim left a store about 9 p.m. Wednesday in the 1600 block of E. Oliver St. The suspect choked and punched the victim and implied she had a handgun. Nikia Harris, of the 1600 block of E. Oliver St., was being held at the Central Booking and Intake Center.

Southwestern District

Stolen car: Police were seeking a 4-door white 1987 Chevrolet with tags ECA 825 that was stolen Tuesday in the 5100 block of Williston St.

Robbery: A 33-year-old woman was in the 2000 block of N. Denison St. about 7 a.m. Wednesday when she was assaulted by a man who stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at nearly $50.

Towson

Escape: A man serving 18 months for burglary at the county Detention Center has been charged with escape because city authorities, through an administrative error, failed to return him to the center Oct. 7. The man was being held on a traffic charge at Central Booking and Intake Center and was taken to a bail review hearing in Baltimore District Court, where a judge released him on his own recognizance. The man had been released from the county Detention Center on a writ that ordered him returned there after the hearing in the city. Sought is Bradrick Thomas Greene, 23, of the 100 block of Melrose Ave., Catonsville.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 6800 block of Golden Ring Road Wednesday and stole a Mossberg model 500 shotgun and several photographs.

North Point Precinct

Theft: A chrome bike valued at $400 was stolen Wednesday from the front yard of a house in the 8100 block of Grayhaven Road.

Officers assaulted: After being charged with indecent exposure in the 2700 block of Playfield St. Wednesday, a man assaulted three police officers and a matron in the station lockup when they tried to prevent him from killing himself. Though handcuffed and in leg irons, the man broke a cell window before he was subdued and taken to Sheppard Pratt Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation. Charges of assaulting the police and the matron, resisting arrest and destruction of property were pending.

Towson Precinct

Robbery try: A 14-year-old boy was in the 6300 block of Sherwood Road about 6 p.m. Wednesday when three older youths attacked him and demanded his money. When the victim resisted, the three fled.

Cockeysville Precinct

Robbery: Two employees of Domino's Pizza in the 9500 block of Deerco Road in Timonium were leaving work about 1 a.m. yesterday and walking to their cars when a gunman stepped from behind a trash bin and demanded the money they were going to deposit in a bank. The gunman escaped with more than $500.
