New Windsor: Firefighters responded at 8: 16 p.m. Saturday to a trash fire on Route 31 at Marston Road. Units were out 22 minutes.

Taneytown: Firefighters from Harney and Emmitsburg in Frederick County assisted Taneytown at 2: 35 p.m. Saturday, responding to a house fire in the 6100 block of Taneytown Pike. Units were out 26 minutes.


New Windsor: A New Windsor man and a Frederick woman told police Friday that someone stole a bank envelope from a shelf near a washing machine in a public laundry on High Street. The loss was estimated at $400.

New Windsor: Residents in the 300 and 400 blocks of Church Street told police that someone shattered windows on their vehicles between midnight and 5 a.m. Sunday. Damage was estimated at $500.
