County police arrested a Pasadena man on child pornography charges Saturday after two boys claimed he showed them pornographic pictures while they were fishing in Riviera Beach.

The boys, both 9, told their mothers that a man had shown them pictures on Oct. 4 of couples having sex, police said. The man told them he had done the things in the pictures with "my wife, other people, and small kids your age," according to court documents.

As the boys walked away, the man allegedly told them, "If you know of anybody who wants to do it, hook me up with them," the documents say.

The boys told their parents, who called police.

When Detective Katie Goodwin interviewed the boys, they described the pictures, and one told her that on another occasion, while he was fishing alone, the man showed him a magazine with a picture of two nude boys performing sex acts, police said.

Police got a warrant to search the man's house. When they did, shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday, they said they found several books, pictures and magazines containing child pornography.

Gary Marion Everd, 53, of the 200 block of Kenwood Road was charged with possession of child pornography, police said.
