A man with a note robbed a Severna Park bank branch Saturday -- the third such robbery in the county in four days.

County police said the first two were not related, but they said it was unclear whether the Saturday robbery was related to either of the others.

Police said the man waited in line with customers at the First National Bank of Maryland in the 500 block of Ritchie Highway. Shortly after 4 p.m., he handed a teller the note demanding money.

When the teller handed over the money, the man fled, police said.

Two men robbed a Glen Burnie Pizza Hut manager Saturday of the store's night deposit, county police said.

Mohammad Aamed, 35, told police he had gotten into his car outside the store in the 7900 block of Crain Highway when two men approached his car.

One man, armed with a small handgun, knocked on Aamed's window, police said.

When Aamed refused to open the door, the man opened Aamed's rear door and grabbed the deposit bag, and both men ran away, police said.

Police Log:

Glen Burnie: A man with a gun walked into Pancake Cottage in the 6900 block of Ritchie Highway about 7: 30 p.m. Sunday, forced his way into the manager's office and robbed the safe.
