William S. Gordy Jr., comptroller, announced the quarterly distribution of funds for the public schools. Anne Arundel County will receive $384.47. -- The Sun, Oct. 3, 1922.

The Navy Athletic Association has placed its allotment of 10,000 tickets for the Navy-Penn State football game, to be played in Washington, on sale at $3 apiece, regardless of the seating sections. -- The Sun, Oct. 10, 1922.

Two thousand members of the Ku Klux Klan from Maryland and Delaware marched through Annapolis in full regalia behind a huge emblazoned cross. The face caps of the hoods were thrown back to comply with legal requirements. The march ended with an oyster roast at Burn Point. -- The Sun, Oct. 30, 1922.
