Sykesville: Firefighters responded at 7: 32 p.m. Sunday to a fire alarm in the 7300 block of Argonne Drive. Units were out 27 minutes.

Gamber: Firefighters responded at 8: 15 p.m. Friday to an auto fire in the 3900 block of Sykesville Road. Units were out 16 minutes.

Sykesville: Firefighters responded at 8: 34 p.m. Friday to a fire alarm in the 7500 block of Main St. Units were out 26 minutes.

Sykesville: Firefighters responded at 11: 30 a.m. Saturday to a chimney fire in the 11300 block of Frederick Road. Units were out 20 minutes.

Police

Eldersburg: A resident of MacBeth Way told police Saturday that someone scratched his vehicle while it was parked in his driveway. Damage was estimated at $200.

Eldersburg: A resident of Berkley Drive told police that someone stole her 1988 Nissan while she was in a convenience store in the 1500 block of Liberty Road paying for gasoline she had just pumped. The loss was estimated at $1,570.
