Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Robbery: A man assaulted a 56-year-old man and robbed him of $60 about 6 p.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of Marshall St.

Burglary: Two 17-speed bikes valued at more than $300 were stolen between Friday and Sunday from a house in the first block of Poultney St.

Burglary: More than $500 was stolen Sunday from a house in the 400 block of E. Cross St.

Theft from vehicle: A cellular phone and other property, all valued at $500, were stolen Sunday from a 1994 Ford parked in the 400 block of W. Lee St.

Stolen car: A blue two-door 1986 Pontiac with temporary tags 23665E was stolen Sunday in the 100 block of E. Fort Ave.

Robbery: A man withdrew money from an automated teller machine about 3 p.m. Sunday and was about to enter his car in the 3400 block of Annapolis Road when he was assaulted by an unarmed man, who robbed him of $200.

Western District

Theft: Police arrested a man who tried to leave McCrory's department store at Mondawmin Mall on Sunday without paying for health products valued at nearly $25.

Theft: Furniture valued at $20 was stolen Sunday from the front porch of a house in the 1100 block of N. Bentalou St.

Theft: Someone entered a house in the 1700 block of Presstman St. on Sunday and stole two videocassette recorders valued at more than $400.

Eastern District

Shooting: A woman was in the 800 block of McAleer Court about 3 a.m. Saturday when a man pulled a handgun and shot her in the foot. The woman was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Police had made no arrest and knew of no motive for the shooting.

Robbery/cutting: A man armed with a knife robbed another man of more than $200 about 5 a.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of Gay St. After taking the money, the robber cut the victim on the right hand. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Southwestern District

Robbery: A man robbed a 46-year-old man of $20 and stabbed him in the arm with a knife about 9 p.m. Sunday in the 2500 block of Frederick Ave. The victim refused medical treatment.

Northern District

Carjacking: A 40-year-old female motorist was stopped in the 2900 block of Sisson St. about 10 p.m. Sunday when two men, one with a handgun, forced her out of her 1997 Ford Escort with tags DTH 749 and drove off.

Stolen car: A maroon 1989 Jeep with Virginia tags OBV 104 was stolen Sunday in the 4000 block of Linkwood Road.

Burglary/stolen vehicle: After entering a house in the 2300 block of N. Hunter St. on Sunday and stealing a set of keys, the intruder drove off with the occupant's Dodge Neon with tags EFA 858.

Burglary: A laptop computer and other property, all valued at $3,000, were stolen Oct. 1 from a house in the 3000 block of N. Charles St. The burglary was reported Sunday.

Theft from vehicle: A cellular phone valued at more than $100 was stolen Sunday from a 1984 Toyota parked in the 600 block of W. 40th St.

Theft: A cellular phone and other property, all valued at more than $400, were stolen Sunday from a 1993 Ford parked in the 3000 block of Vineyard Lane.

Stolen car: A red 1995 Dodge van with tags 395831M was stolen Sunday in the 4200 block of Elsa Terrace.

Burglary: Stereo equipment, a 10-speed bike, cash and a compact disc player, all valued at nearly $250, were stolen Sunday from a house in the 3000 block of N. Charles St.

Northwestern District

Rape try/shooting: A 22-year-old woman was in the 4100 block of Walbrook Ave. about 3 a.m. Sunday when a man forced her into a wooded area and tried to rape her. When the woman resisted and tried to flee, the man shot her in the chest with a handgun. The woman was in stable condition at Sinai Hospital yesterday.

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: A man robbed the High's dairy store in the 6300 block of Kenwood Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money about 1 a.m. Sunday, forced an employee into a freezer and fled. The employee escaped unharmed and called police.

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: A gunman robbed the High's dairy store at the Satyr Hill Shopping Center in the 8700 block of Satyr Hill Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 11 p.m. Sunday. Police said the gunman may have robbed the same store about 10 p.m. Saturday.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Two camera lenses, two shotguns, two televisions, a videocassette recorder, compact disc player and a security box, all valued at nearly $1,900, were stolen Sunday from a house in the 2800 block of Traceys Store Road in Parkton.
