Man killed trying to cross road

A Damascus man died Wednesday evening after he was struck by a Lincoln Town Car as he tried to walk across Liberty Road in front of an Eldersburg pizza shop.

Albert Paul Tomago Jr., 42, of the 9800 block of Bethesda Church Road was pronounced dead at the scene outside Salerno's Pizza & Sub Shop in the 1000 block of Liberty Road shortly after the 7: 40 p.m. accident.

Tomago's body was taken to the state medical examiner's office in Baltimore, where an autopsy will be performed.

Robert T. Bullock, 40, of Westminster, the driver of the Lincoln, was not charged, according to a police report.
