Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Northeastern District

Shootings: Two men were in the 1700 block of Montpelier St. about 11 p.m. when they heard several gunshots and felt pain in their lower limbs. Both were treated for minor bullet wounds at Union Memorial Hospital and released.

Northwestern District

Shooting: A man was shot about 8 p.m. Monday after trying to purchase compact discs from another man in the 4200 block of Reisterstown Road. After giving the other man money for several CDs, the victim demanded them and was instead shot in the chest. The gunman fled with the CDs and the victim's money. The victim was in critical condition yesterday at Sinai Hospital.

Robbery: Two men struck a 37-year-old man with their fists in the 4000 block of Boarman Ave. about 11 p.m. Monday and drove off in his 1986 Cadillac with tags ELM 966.

Robbery: A man shoved another man to the ground and robbed him of $100 about 3 p.m. Monday in the 4500 block of Pimlico Road.

Knifing: Police were seeking a woman who cut another woman on the neck with a knife during an incident Monday in the 5100 block of Park Heights Ave. The victim was treated for an 8-inch laceration at Sinai Hospital and released.

Stolen car: A two-door red 1997 Hyundai with tags EAL 344 was stolen Monday in the 2800 block of Gatehouse Drive.

Eastern District

Theft from vehicle: An unloaded handgun, jacket and other property were stolen Monday from a 1997 Mitsubishi parked in the 600 block of N. Patterson Park Ave.

Robbery: A man was in the 1300 block of Ellwood Ave. about 4 p.m. Monday when another man placed an unknown object to his neck and robbed him of more than $60.

Burglary: Stereo equipment valued at more than $1,000 was stolen Monday from a house in the 1500 block of N. Collington Ave.

Central District

Theft: After a woman placed her purse on a windowsill inside an office building in the first block of St. Paul St. on Monday, someone stole the purse, containing cash and property, all valued at more than $400.

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: A cellular phone valued at $100 was stolen Monday from a 1995 Chevrolet parked in the 1700 block of Covington St.

Burglary: Stereo equipment, a Browning shotgun and video games, all valued at more than $2,400, were stolen Monday from a house in the 2900 block of Huron St.

Southwestern District

Stolen car: A maroon two-door 1994 Hyundai with tags EGJ 026 was stolen Monday in the 4400 block of Old Frederick Road.

North Point Precinct

Theft: Computer equipment and telephone headsets, all valued at more than $1,500, were stolen between Friday and Saturday from Pro Communications in the 8100 block of Stansbury Road.

Theft from vehicle: A car phone valued at $100 was stolen Monday from a van parked in the 1700 block of Merritt Blvd.

Parkville Precinct

Bank robbery: An apparently unarmed man robbed Provident Bank of Maryland in the 4000 block of E. Joppa Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 1 p.m. Monday. He ordered a teller to fill the bag he carried with money.
