Pa. man is held in theft of Jeep in Hampstead

A Hanover, Pa., man was being held in lieu of $2,500 bond after being charged Sunday in the theft of a 1979 Jeep in Hampstead.

Town police said a state trooper stopped a Jeep in Baltimore County that fit the description of one reported stolen about 9 a.m. from the 1300 block of N. Main St.

The driver, Christopher C. Calp, 24, was turned over to town officers and arrested on auto theft and drug charges.
