Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Northwestern District

Shooting: A 23-year-old man was shot in the left arm and left side about 9 p.m. Saturday in the 3300 block of W. Garrison Ave. by the driver of a red car that was traveling on the westbound street in the opposite direction. The victim was in good condition at Liberty Medical Center.

Knock and rob: Two men robbed a man of more than $500 and a cellular phone about 8 p.m. Saturday at the victim's residence in the 6000 block of Clover Road. The robbers, one with a toy handgun, knocked on the door and struck the victim with their fists after he answered. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital.

Northwestern District

Theft/arrest: Police arrested a man who attempted to leave the Food King supermarket in the 5700 block of Wabash Ave. on Saturday without paying for toothpaste and deodorant, all valued at $15.

Northern District

Burglary: Compact discs of unknown value were stolen Saturday from a house in the 100 block of W. 29th St.

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: After buying coffee and doughnuts at the Dunkin' Donuts in the 6300 block of Kenwood Ave. about 9 p.m. Saturday, a customer pointed to a handgun in his waistband and ordered an employee to give him the money in the cash register. The gunman escaped with more than $100.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: A bike valued at nearly $200 was stolen from a garage in the 7900 block of Westmoreland Ave. Sept. 16 or 17. The burglary was reported Friday.
