Yospa named vice president at Annapolis Volvo/Subaru

Annapolis Volvo/Subaru has promoted Robert Yospa to vice president. The Owings Mills resident joined the dealership in 1991 as director of parts and services, a post in which he will continue. Under his direction, the company's service department has won several awards of excellence.

Energy Controls appoints Friedlander as director

Energy Controls International appointed Paul C. Friedlander director of engineering. He will be responsible for electronic hardware and software engineering functions management at the Hunt Valley-based environmental and refrigeration control systems manufacturer. A master's graduate in engineering of Johns Hopkins University, he formerly was chief technical officer at IBT Group.

Coblantz account supervisor at Malis, Goldstrom Hopson

Malis, Goldstrom Hopson Advertising named Carin Coblantz account supervisor. Previously a senior account executive with W. B. Doner, she is a graduate of the University of Virginia with TC degree in rhetoric and communications.

Callahan & Co. names Wasmer, Kirby art directors

Callahan & Co. announced that Dina Wasmer and Mark Kirby have joined the Baltimore-based marketing communications firm as art directors.

Wasmer, a master's graduate of the University of Baltimore and board member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, previously was graphics designer at Loyola College. Kirby, who studied at the Portfolio Center in Atlanta, held positions at several Atlanta-based agencies.

The agency also appointed Julia Layne Prunkl, formerly of The Reeves Agency, to its staff as an account executive.

Legal and insurance

Nash-Goetz, Mann join Gordon, Feinblatt

Gordon, Feinblatt, Rothman, Hoffberger & Hollander elected Karen Nash-Goetz as a member of the firm and announced that Bruce L. Mann has joined the firm's family law department.

Nash-Goetz specializes in consumer credit issues and regulated lenders.

Mann, an Owings Mills resident, has 10 years' experience in domestic, commercial and estate law.
