Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Assault: A man was in the 900 block of Washington Blvd. on Monday when he was attacked by a man who struck him several times with a piece of wood. The victim suffered a 3-inch head laceration and was treated at University of Maryland Medical Center.

Burglary: A Yamaha dirt bike, 19 cases of peanuts and a 14-piece socket set, all valued at more than $1,500, were stolen Monday from a house in the 1600 block of S. Charles St.

Southwestern District

Burglary: A high-pressure hose and tools, all valued at nearly $1,400, were stolen from the warehouse of Gray & Co. in the 1000 block of Wilso Drive Sunday or Monday.

Northwestern District

Stolen car: A 1991 Plymouth Sundance with handicap tags 88296 was stolen Sunday or Monday in the 2800 block of Bartol Ave.

Bank robbery: A man robbed the Signet Bank in the 4700 block of Liberty Heights Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money about 11: 30 a.m. Monday. The man, who gave a teller a note demanding money, did not display a weapon.

Eastern District

Robbery: A 50-year-old motorist was stopped at a traffic light in the 700 block of N. Rose St. on Monday when three men pulled him from his 1983 Chevrolet Caprice, struck him in the chest with a baseball bat and robbed him of $200. The man was treated for two fractured ribs and a head injury at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Northern District

Burglary: A telephone, answering machine, vacuum cleaner and several cassette tapes, all valued at more than $700, were stolen Monday from a house in the 300 block of E. 25th St.

Theft/arrest: Police arrested a man who tried to leave Eddie's supermarket in the 5100 block of Roland Ave. on Monday without paying for alcoholic beverages valued at more than $50.

Robbery: A 13-year-old boy was riding his bike in the 2800 block of The Alameda about 3 p.m. Monday when a man shoved him to the ground and stole it.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Ninety dollars in cash and compact discs valued at more than $300 were stolen Sunday from a house in the first block of Millbridge Court.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Police are seeking three men who entered a house in the 7700 block of Park Drive through a side door between Sept. 17 and Friday and stole a television, AM-FM cassette recorder, tools and cash, all valued at more than $1,700. The burglary was reported Monday.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A portable telephone valued at $50 was stolen Monday from a house in the 100 block of W. Seminary Ave.

Burglary: A car stereo system, compact discs and a camera, all valued at nearly $4,000, were stolen from a house in the 16800 block of York Road between Saturday and Monday.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: A mountain bike of unknown value was stolen Sunday from the storage locker of an apartment building in the 7900 block of Dunhill Village Circle.

For the Record

Arrests: Police have charged three men who were arrested inside Jimmy's Grocery in the 3500 block of Harlem Ave. after the owner was robbed and pistol-whipped. Charged with armed robbery, first-degree assault and handgun violations were Jeffrey Curtis Jones, 34, of the 700 block of Linnard St.; Sean Anthony Crim, 25, of the 800 block of Clintwood Court; and Charles Webster Brooks, 30, of the 500 block of Rock Glen Road.
