Gowing combined for 24 saves in two shutout wins over No. 9-ranked Severna Park (1-0) and Annapolis (2-0). The senior goalie recorded 16 saves against the Falcons.

Mason ran for 204 yards on eight carries and three touchdowns in a win over Dulaney (31-0). The senior running back had touchdown runs of 60, 32, and 29 yards.

Field hockey

McInnes scored the game-winning goal in a win over Episcopal (2-1) and set up the only goal in the No. 3-ranked Reds' victory over No. 2 Severna Park (1-0).

At the end of the school year each player chosen as an Athlete of the Week will be invited to a luncheon at the Towson Sheraton, where one male and one female Athlete of the Year will be chosen.
