Pirates: The home attendance of 1,657,022 was the sixth-highest in club history. Jason Schmidt has won six of his past eight decisions. Pittsburgh won eight of its past nine against St. Louis.

Reds: The team sold 17,411 tickets for the final home game and drew 1,785,788 for the season, the lowest gate since 1986.

Twins: The crowd of 10,015 gave the team an attendance of 1,411,064 this season, down from 1,437,352 in 1996. That was the lowest attendance for a full season since drawing 1,255,453 in 1986.
